As the weather warms up, young children eagerly look forward to beach outings, reveling in the joy of building sandcastles and splashing in pools or running along the shoreline. Zinc oxide stands as the sole FDA-approved filter providing comprehensive defense against both UVA and UVB rays. Alone it can fulfill the role of the primary active ingredient in your mineral SPF formula. Which makes it a better choice for combating premature aging, and sunburn, and even reducing the risk of skin cancer. 

Another thing we ensured is that we use a particular size of our Zinc Oxide, which is Non-nano and has particles larger than 100mm. Because of its size in contrast to Nano Zinc Oxide, it remains only on the surface of the skin and has been proven to be an environmentally-conscious ingredient because it poses minimal harm to marine life, whereas Nano Zinc Oxide can pose serious threats to the human body and leave harmful traces on the environment. 

While other sunscreen products contain non-nano Zinc Oxide in their coated form and even though they can come in Non-nano sizes, it’s still important to know what specific coating is used as the coating may contain traces of aluminum or other inert substances, typically triethoxycaprylylsilane, a silicone coating.
