Along with SPF, cleaning the skin is one of the most important steps in a skincare routine. If you wear makeup throughout the day you must remove it so your skin can breathe at night. Your skin repairs itself at night so going to bed makeup and dirt free is critical to get a glowing complexion.
To achieve a clear and healthy complexion, clean your face with a gentle face wash twice a day. The reason we cleanse in the morning is to get rid of the oil, sweat and dead skin that collect overnight- this is very important to make sure your makeup goes on beautifully.
Try using a warm, damp flannel to remove your cleanser for extra exfoliation. This buffs away dead skin cells that can make the skin appear dull and dry.
