A skincare routine is a nightly ritual we do to achieve healthier looking skin. For some people, it’s the only time in the day to themselves and it’s really special. But why do we take these steps and how are we benefiting from them?
We cleanse our skin to remove makeup, SPF, dirty oil, and debris. It’s important to cleanse even if you’re not wearing makeup as the pollution in the air can affect our skin. Cleansing allows our skin to take in the products we put on afterward and stops our pores from getting blocked with dirt.
Serum is an important step in the skincare routine that can hugely benefit the texture and feel of the skin. Serums are concentrated formulations that usually feel more lightweight on the skin and help the creams you put on top penetrate deeper.
We use organic face creams for different reasons day and night important for improving the look of the skin and providing comfort. In the morning, a face moisturiser is used to prepare the skin for makeup and protect against the elements. In the evening, the night cream is used to repair skin and keep it hydrated.
Your under eye area doesn’t produce its own moisture so you need to treat it separately. Always use an eye cream (ours will be out very soon!) and only ever use your ring finger to apply the product. The ring finger has the least amount of pressure, therefore, does the least amount of damage.
